Boys Will Be Boys
Noted Montessorian Biff Maier, will be in Connecticut to speak about boys and their brain based characteristics, as well as what we as parents and educators can do to meet their needs. Our community is fortunate to have Biff for Tuesday evening. Please join us to hear an informative, as well as entertaining presentation, one not to be missed.
William “Biff” Maier is Director of Faculty and Curriculum Development at Lexington Montessori School in Massachusetts. He is the Elementary Curriculum Coordinator for Center for Montessori Teacher Education/NY and coordinates the CMTE/NY activity in Lexington. He also presents and consults for the Center for Montessori School Management. Involved with Montessori since 1974, Biff is a seminar presenter and a cons consultant for the American Montessori Society, and, as former Chair of the AMS Teachers’ Section, he served on the AMS National Board of Directors. He earned his B.A. in psychology from Duke University and his M.Ed. from Xavier University, where he also received his AMS Early Childhood and Elementary 6-9 credentials. He also earned an AMI 6-12 credential from Bergamo, Italy.
