Al Avitable, of Bethlehem visited the Montessori Middle School at Millstream Farm to inspect the newly established apiary and share his expertise with the students and teachers. Dr. Avitable, well known in the area for his work with bee keeping and research, has recently released an updated edition of The Beekeeper's Handbook which is co-authored by Diana Sammataro.
