Litchfield Montessori School is going greener and shining brighter too! We are working with Advanced Energy Management on a project to retrofit our dated overhead lighting system with more energy efficient fixtures. Through an incentive program with C L & P, LMS has been granted fiscal support for half of this $22,000 project. The remaining cost will be paid over the next three years. The projections indicate that the cost of this project will be paid for by the savings we incur from the installation of the new energy efficient fixtures. An additional bonus: the new fixtures provide more natural and brighter illumination! LMS will continue to maintain the building needs, identify areas that need attention as well as seek more sustainable approaches of repair and replacement.
