Litchfield Montessori School’s Sixth and Seventh year students participated in Montessori Model United Nations: serving as delegates to the Republic of Senegal, an African Nation and as a judge on the International Court of Justice respectfully. The Students were assigned research topics from various United Nations committees including the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), World Food Program, and the African Union.

LMS students accompanied by Upper Elementary teachers, Sondra Strubhar and Melora Mennesson, joined over 600 national and international Montessori students participating in this authentic working model of the United Nations.
