Litchfield Montessori School depends for its strength and success in part on the energy and spirit of its parents, family members, and friends.  In order for us to be successful, we rely upon family and volunteer participation.  As a Litchfield Montessori parent, you become a member of the Parent Association.  Families are a vital part of their children’s education and our school community.

Parent efforts through the Parent Association insure the success of our fund raising for school enhancements.  As a member of this dynamic group, parents volunteer in many ways by coordinating and sharing activities with students.  These opportunities are wonderful ways to meet other parents at the school.

As a parent, it is your responsibility to be informed about school policies, procedures and events. The Parent Handbook should serve as a resource for the fundamental information about the school. Being a part of the community is as important for you as it is for your child. Make it a priority to attend parent informational meetings, curriculum evenings, performances and events.
