As the Board of Trustees convenes each year to set our tuition, it must take into consideration the financial requirements of sustaining our programming and supporting our talented teachers. This must be balanced with our mission to keep costs for each family as affordable as possible. This strategy allows a greater range of families the opportunity to enroll their children at LMS.

Litchfield Montessori School offers generous need-based financial assistance to qualified families. Admissions decisions are made irrespective of financial need. Financial aid is awarded based both on need and on the amount of financial aid funds available.
To apply for financial aid please complete and submit the Parent’s Financial Statement available through FAST Financial Assistance, a service of Independent School Management. FAST processes your application, then makes a recommendation for each financial aid package to be awarded on a case-by-case basis. This service helps LMS make fair and objective decisions about financial assistance. A family’s application is kept completely private by both FAST and Litchfield Montessori School.
