Visiting the Livingston Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy
May 4th, 2018
Children from the Extended Day year in Children's House went on a fun-filled trip to the Livingston Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy on Friday. There was so much to see and do from petting ducklings to observing exotic birds...
Our visit began when the children got to meet a new batch of ducklings. They were so sweet and happy to have made some new friends.
Next the children learned about eggs - who knew they came in so many shapes and sizes? My goodness the Ostrich has a very large egg indeed!
On our tour of the facility we saw some spectacular birds from around the world. There were birds from Nepal, China, Canada and even Africa!
