Weekly Update Nov. 15th - Nov. 22nd

November 15th, 2024

Indeed we have come to the conclusion that the basis of all culture should be given in this period from seven years to adolescence. I mentioned the fact that on this educational plane, giving material was not enough, but material is nonetheless essential.

  • 11:00 AM Harvest Feast (Children's House & Elementary Families)

After breakfast, Children’s House and Elementary parents are invited to return to LMS at 11:00 AM for the Harvest Feast. We’ll gather on the field for a celebration of gratitude, followed by a meal prepared by the children. Please note: Only Children’s House and Elementary children participate in this event with their parents. We do not disrupt the morning routine for our youngest community members.

In keeping with tradition, we ask that each person brings a bowl (preferably wooden), cup (preferably tin), spoon, cloth napkin, and a basket to carry them in.

  • 12:30 PM Early Dismissal (All Students)

This event also begins our Thanksgiving Break, with a 12:30 PM dismissal for all students, including YPC.
We look forward to celebrating with you!

Things to know...

Photo Galleries have arrived!

All parents should have received their child's photo gallery from Rebecca Bloomfield Photography.

Your gallery will be open for 7 more days.

This means is that all digital and print orders have to be placed by November 20, 2024. She'll send a few reminder emails between now and then to make sure that everyone who wants to place an order has a chance to. Digital downloads will be emailed to you soon after you order them, and prints will be available for pickup at the school within 4 weeks. Every family that orders will receive a free class photo.

Rebecca will offer a make-up / retake day for those children who were absent.

We certainly enjoyed the gift of Rebecca's peaceful presence in our school to photograph our children (and school pets) this year.

Please reach out to Betsy or Michelle if you have any questions.
