Litchfield Montessori School is proud to remain small enough to focus on each and every child. At the close of the calendar year, the Board of Trustees convenes to set our tuition. To do so, they must balance the financial requirements of sustaining our programming and supporting our talented teachers, while also holding to our mission of keeping a Montessori education affordable. Tuition Payment Plan
Litchfield Montessori provides the following Payment & Options Plans.
Option A:
Monthly payments commencing on the first of July and ending no later than June, 15th. A deposit of $1,000 (applied to the tuition balance) is required at the time of enrollment. An annual service fee of $200 is also applied to this payment option.
Option B:
Pay in three (3) installments. A deposit of $1,000 (applied to the tuition balance) is required at the time of enrollment. An annual service fee of $100 is also applied to this payment option.
Option C:
Pay your tuition in full on or prior to May 1st and receive a 3% discount. This discount can not be combined with other discounts, including financial aid. A deposit of $1,000 (applied to the tuition balance) is required at the time of enrollment. Full payment MUST be received on or prior to May 1st to be eligible for this discount. Payments received after May 1st will not be eligible.

The financial aid deadline is March 6th.

How do families apply for financial aid?
New families will be invited to enroll via email from TADS after their child has been accepted. Current families will be invited to re-enroll via email from TADS in January each year.
To be considered for financial aid, all families must complete enrollment, including the financial aid application, by March 6. Financial aid awards are limited after this deadline.

Does every family that applies for financial aid receive an award?
Litchfield Montessori School makes financial aid decisions based on information submitted by families through TADS, including required financial documentation. Financial aid is awarded based on demonstrated financial need and must be applied for annually. Families who submit complete applications by the stated deadline are more likely to be considered for available funds. Financial aid is not guaranteed from year to year.
How is Financial Aid Handled in Situations Where Parents are Separated or Divorced?
Parents/Guardians living in separate households must each submit separate financial aid documents. TADS considers all households’ resources, regardless of legal documents, when determining their ability to pay.
What is the timeline for notification of financial aid?
Notification of financial aid award will occur on a rolling basis as applications are received and processed, typically within two weeks.
