The Giving Tree Arrives
Collecting items until December 14th
A treasured LMS tradition, each year families donate gloves, mittens, hats, scarves, as well as gently used winter coats to decorate the Giving Tree. Thank you to our alumni family, The Kowalchicks, for donating the tree itself!
Help make our tree festive this year! Before Winter Break, students from the elementary classes will drop off items to be distributed to local families in need.
Monday, Nov. 27th:
Nutmeg Spice Fundraiser
Please return your order form by Friday, December 1st.
There’s no time like the present to be planning ahead for your winter holiday cooking and baking! This Fall we are pleased to work with Nutmeg Spice for our Sixth Year Trip fundraising campaign. An order form went home with your child last week.
An excellent selection of spices, herbs, rubs, and toppings are now available to purchase. All products are bottled locally in Terryville, CT. They are 100% pure with no fillers or added ingredients and most are GLUTEN FREE!
Thank you for participating and helping us reach our goal!

Give to the Annual Fund
Thank you to all who have contributed so far!
The participation of every parent in our annual fund campaign is essential. It shows that, as a community, we value and invest in our children's education. It also encourages outside donors and grant organizations to support us, as they see the strong backing by our own community.

The Awakened Holiday: How to Guide Your Family Through Routines with Intention
BY Aubrey Wallen
"To help with the overwhelming nature of our many holiday routines, we can use our intention as a tool to help make (and keep) the season bright. Intention can create space for us to relax into the present moment and be joyful during the routines we hold so dear. Intentions give us a bottom line so we can focus and prioritize. Things that do not support our intention can be passed over, and our purpose becomes clear. Placing our focus on our decided intentions can reduce overwhelming moments and allow for a heightened sense of peace, presence, and power as we move through our routines."
