Weekly Update Sept. 20 - 27
September 20th, 2024
“We must study the correlation between life and the environment. In nature all is correlated. This is the purpose of nature. Nature is not concerned just with the conservation of individual life or with the betterment of itself. It is a harmony, a plan of construction. Everything fits into the plan: rocks, earth, water, plants, man, etc. ”

Tips from other LMS families:
From the LMS Handbook:
Lost and Found
- We cannot return lost items if they are not labeled! Please label all of your child’s items. Unlabeled items will be put in the Lost and Found, which will periodically be laid out so parents can claim missing items. At the end of each month, this bin will be emptied. Any unclaimed and unlabeled garments will be donated to charity.

Six Ways to Respond to Your Kids’ Big Feelings
When adults help children feel heard, it helps everyone feel less distressed and more calm.
By Jessica L. Borelli, Stacey N. Doan | March 17, 2022
As parents, one of our greatest motivations is to protect our children from pain and suffering—in essence, from negative emotions.
