At LMS children routinely go on adventures that take them outdoors where they can be exposed both to the sun and to insects. We recommend that your child wear both sunscreen and insect repellant routinely.

The school is happy to provide a supply of Deep Woods Off and Coppertone Pure and Simple Zinc Oxide Mineral Sunscreen Lotion (SPF 50). If you would like your child to use these products for sun and insect protection, please fill out this section and sign the parent release below.

If you prefer a specific insect/tick repellent and sunscreen used on your child, you will be given the option to opt out below and provide your own.

I give the faculty and staff at Litchfield Montessori school permission to apply Coppertone Pure and Simple Zinc Oxide Mineral Sunscreen Lotion (SPF 50) on my child. 

 

I give the faculty and staff at Litchfield Montessori permission to apply Deep Woods Off as a tick/insect repellent on my child.
