Nutmeg Spice Fundraiser

Collecting Forms - Monday, November 4th

Our 6th year students are selling Nutmeg Spice items to help fund their class trip. Nutmeg Spice offers a variety of herbs, spices, rubs, and ice cream toppings. We earn a generous 48% profit from total sales. Order forms were sent home with families last week; purchased items will be delivered the week before Thanksgiving Break.  Contact UE Guide, Kate Gnitzcavich, through the Remind app. with any questions.

  • In keeping with tradition, we ask that each person brings a bowl (preferably wooden), cup (preferably tin), spoon, cloth napkin, and a basket to carry them in.

New Clubs Begin in November:

Baking with Kelsey!

Calling all junior bakers! Do you have a Children’s House child who would love to explore healthy baked treats? Have them join Kelsey for an after school club Tuesday afternoons during the month of November! They will talk about ingredients, measuring, and the different tools used for baking.

Baking naturally creates larger quantities so each child will receive a small box of treats to take home to eat and share with their families as well each week. Depending on the treat each week, some will be sent home the next day in order to have enough time to cool before packing them up! 

Dates: November 5th , 12th , and 19th
Times: 3:15-4:30
Cost: $75

Terrariums for Beginners!

Elementary Students are invited to recreate the beauty of our natural world in a mini ecosystem - a self-sustaining garden that requires very little care.

In this club, we will make miniature forests and gardens in  repurposed glass containers.  Use your imagination to add moss, natural stones, shells, driftwood or a touch of whimsy like fairies, mushrooms and small animals. All supplies and containers included. Snack provided.

Dates: November 12th, 19th & December 3rd, 10th & 17th
Times: 3:15-4:30
Cost: $100
