Weekly Update March 1 - 8

March 1st, 2024

As the child learns to handle the materials carefully his delight grows, and eventually he can be trusted to dust the cupboard with the fragile glasses inside. There is no need to worry about his ungainly movements [...] they will vanish of their own accord.

As we enter into our last week prior to spring break - Let's all make a conscious effort to practice responsible hygiene with our children.

We’re diligently deep cleaning daily to ensure cleanliness and limit spread. Kindly emphasize to your children the significance of regular handwashing with warm, soapy water, and encourage them to refrain from touching their faces. If your child experiences diarrhea, vomiting, or fever, kindly ensure they’re symptom-free for 24 hours before returning to school. Thank you for your cooperation!

Thursday, March 7th:

Community Circle: 3:30pm

Find community in our circle of families! This month's Community Circle will provide us all with another opportunity to learn together utilizing activities designed for parents from the Positive Discipline program. This program, founded by Dr. Jane Nelsen and based on the work of Alfred Adler and Rudolf Dreikurs, supports respectful communication, fostering strong connections among children, adults, and communities to promote vital social and life skills.

Childcare provided. A sign-up will go out next week via Remind.

Give to the Annual Fund

Thank you to all who have contributed so far!

The participation of every parent in our annual fund campaign is essential.  It shows that, as a community, we value and invest in our children's education. It also encourages outside donors and grant organizations to support us, as they see the strong backing by our own community.
